Lisa A. Forrest is a Senior Assistant Librarian for SUNY College at Buffalo (Buffalo, New York) and the founding member of the school’s Rooftop Poetry Club. She is the recipient of the 2008 Excellence in Library Service Award from the Western New York Library Resources Council. Lisa’s scholarly writing has appeared in a variety of publications, including American Libraries, A Leadership Primer for New Librarians (Chandos Publishing), Journal of Library Administration and Management, Thinking Outside the Book (McFarland Press), Urban Library Journal, and Writing and Publishing: The Librarians Handbook (forthcoming ALA Editions). A 2007 and 2008 Pushcart Prize nominee, Lisa’s creative writing has been featured in ArtVoice, Buffalo News, eco-poetics, foursquare, Lake Affect, Not Just Air, WordWrights, Yellow Edenwald Field, and on WBFO, Buffalo’s local public radio station. She is a 2009 recipient of the National Public Radio News Directors Incorporated (PRINDI) Award for her featured commentary. As the Emerging Technology Librarian at the E.H. Butler Library at Buffalo State College, Ken Fujiuchi is responsible for evaluating and introducing new technologies at Buffalo State College, and developing ways to integrate them into library services. Ken was also the lab and instructional facilities coordinator and an adjunct faculty member in the former School of Informatics at the University at Buffalo. Ken holds a Masters in Library Science from the University at Buffalo. His research interests include Web 2.0/Library 2.0 applications, information storage and retrieval, and human computer interaction.
